Learn About The Host
I felt a "calling" to move to Cayman in 2022.
I've been hosting social mixers since 2012:
I've seen so much magic happen for attendees: some have started businesses together for example, and this is how I invest in our community.
While I am an introvert and don't drink alcohol: I still believe in the power of human connection and enjoy posh social environments! These mixers also allow me to keep in touch with a lot of my favorite people, and I'm excited to see what happens for you as a result of coming.
You can message me on WhatsApp or LinkedIn to let me know if there are specific kinds of people you'd like to meet so I can think of who to best introduce you to.
"Jonah, is this a place to have a conversation with you?"
To set clear expectations, due to the size of these, it's nearly impossible for me to have a lot of personal conversations: I'm checking my phone, greeting new first time guests, working with venue staff, looking to see who I personally have synergy with, and sometimes I'm just resting.
If you wish to speak to me extensively, I recommend letting me know of this desire to speak after the event is over so we can schedule a time to personally talk. This event is for you and I to meet new people!

I'm an introvert too, just a talkative one!
Remember: I invite my friends, so it's just like I always say: if we like each other, you'll probably like my friends!
But yes, you can stand by me so I can introduce you to people whenever conversations stale out. If you're idle, come find me and I'll see who else I think you should meet. Also: Come early so that the social mixer "grows with you."
Also, if you wear a bright color or something like a chunky statement necklace or some piece of bright, interesting clothing, people will more likely engage with you.

What: I put all my favorite people together for an evening of mingling, networking, connecting, and fun!
When: Wednesday, December 4, 2024, from 7:00PM - 8:00PM and onward.
Where: Pom Pom (Rooftop Indoor/Outdoor Bar Lounge Restaurant) at Indigo Hotel (Just South of Kimpton).
Event Format: It's a social mixer of open mingling/connecting. I'm there to help introduce people around of who I think should meet.

Parking: Free, On Site. (See pictures below to find the special elevator that goes straight up to Pom Pom. You'll take the elevator to the ground floor first, check in with the staff, and they'll give you access to the rooftop.)
